While clean energy movement has often struggled to activate Black audiences, KEK is uniquely positioned to create and influence mainstream Black culture to build a new base of support for the clean energy movement. By organizing and campaigning under a mainstream and culturally relevant brand, KEK offers a new strategy for grassroots movement building and ensuring Black people are a key part of the clean energy economy.
